Data Governance Specialist - Supply Chain

We are currently searching for a Data Governance Specialist - Supply Chain for a client located in California. This is a Contract position and is intended to be an Onsite role working in Pleasanton, CA.

The target hourly pay is $55-$60 an hour

• Manage and maintain supply chain master data (Product, Vendor, Inventory, Location, etc.).
• Monitor and improve data quality by identifying and resolving data issues.
• Define and enforce data standards, business rules, and governance processes.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and IT teams to support business needs.
• Document data definitions, processes, and governance procedures.
• Support data-related audits and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure reliable reporting and insights.
• Participate in data governance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Data Governance, Master Data Management, or Data Analytics.
• Understanding of supply chain processes such as Inventory, Procurement, Logistics, and Planning.
• Able to communicate and present effectively to C Suite leadership.
• Experience working with Data Governance tools like Alation, Atlan, Collibra is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Excel, SQL, or data analysis tools is preferred.
