About the Team
Workday on Workday (WOW) is part of the Workday Business Technology organization. The team provides technology services for the financial, payroll, and human resources functions and collaborates with the product development team to improve the Workday product.
About the RoleWe are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join the WOW Finance team. The BSA will work closely with Finance teams to drive process and system improvements, provide technical mentorship, respond to reporting and analytics requests, manage integrations, and support the application of new features.
Responsibilities- Work closely with Business Finance, Tax, and Treasury partners to understand processes, goals and gaps.
- Plan, prioritize, design, develop, and deploy new projects and system improvements in Workday.
- Leverage business knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Participate in change management and launch support for new or modified configurations.
- Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, domain experts, and end‑user representatives.
- Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met.
- Assist the project team during UAT, track issues to resolution, and secure end‑user acceptance sign‑off.
- 5+ years of professional Business Analyst experience supporting finance teams and processes.
- 5+ years of experience with implementation and administration of financial applications.
- 3+ years of experience with Workday Financials.
- Experience detailing and analyzing processes, procedures, and policies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Strong learning aptitude, technology adoption, and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to mentor others and manage support levels effectively.
- Self‑motivated, flexible, and capable of multi‑tasking with strong time management and organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Previous consulting experience, either internally or with a consulting firm, is a plus.
- Ability to help define team processes and recommend improvements.
- Open to 50% reporting to our Pleasanton or Atlanta, GA office.

Location:
Base pay range: $144,000 USD – $216,000 USD
Additional US location base pay range: $121,600 USD – $216,000 USD
Role may be eligible for a bonus plan, commission, and annual stock grants.
Flexible Work ApproachTeams are expected to spend at least 50% of their time each quarter in the office or in the field, while maintaining flexibility to schedule their work as needed.
