Key Responsibilities- Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and macros in Teradata.
- Implement ETL workflows using tools like Informatica, BTEQ, or Teradata utilities (Fast Load, Multi Load, TPT).
- Optimise queries and manage performance tuning for large-scale data environments.
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in Teradata SQL, joins, indexes, and explain plans.
- Hands‑on experience with Teradata utilities (Fast Load, Multi Load, TPT, BTEQ).
- Knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica, Data Stage, or similar).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and BI tools.
- Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimisation.
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux scripting.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
