Oracle DBA; Oracle Database Administrator

Position Overview

Oracle database admin with 19c experience, including Oracle Data Guard, backup/restore, Golden Gate, Oracle TDE, Linux administration, shell scripting, automation, Oracle Key Vault, and solid communication skills.

• 6+ years of database system support experience with solid understanding of SQL best practices.
• Experience in database administration within cloud environments.
• In-depth knowledge of database and query tuning techniques.
• Excellent technical diagnostic abilities, including failure investigation, reproduction, and resolution.
• Strong prioritization and time‑management skills.
• Attention to detail, diligence, and punctuality to accurately document database status.
• Good communication skills.

• Oracle Database (19c) Administration
  :
  Extensive experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Oracle Data Guard
  :
  Hands‑on experience for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Backup/Restore Expertise
  :
  Proficient in backup and restore strategies with disaster recovery planning.
• Golden Gate
  :
  Experience with Oracle Golden Gate for data replication and integration.
• Oracle Transparent Data Encryption (TDE):
  Knowledge and hands‑on experience securing data with TDE.
• Linux Administration
  :
  Strong experience managing Oracle databases on Linux systems.
• Shell Scripting & Automation
  :
  Ability to automate tasks using Shell scripting or other scripting languages.
• Oracle Key Vault
  :
  Experience managing encryption keys and credentials securely.
• Cloud Database Administration
  :
  Familiarity with managing databases in cloud environments such as AWS, Oracle Cloud, or Azure.
• Database Tuning and Optimization
  :
  In‑depth knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization.
• SQL Best Practices
  :
  Deep understanding and implementation of SQL best practices.
