Position Overview:

We are seeking a Data Reporting and Analytics Consultant to join a growing clinical research team supporting innovative cardiovascular research studies focused on artificial intelligence (AI), population health, and clinical outcomes. This role will play a key part in preparing, analyzing, and reporting clinical research data for ongoing studies while collaborating with researchers, biostatisticians, and operational leaders.

The ideal candidate has experience working with healthcare or clinical research data, strong programming and analytical skills, and enjoys transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights that support research and patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Extract, clean, transform, and merge data from multiple sources, including electronic health records (EHRs) and research databases.
  • Develop and maintain reproducible data workflows and documentation.
  • Perform routine data quality checks and identify inconsistencies or missing data.
  • Write statistical programs, scripts, and macros using tools such as R, Python, SQL, or SAS.
  • Build and support statistical models under the guidance of senior biostatistics staff.
  • Generate descriptive statistics, reports, dashboards, and visualizations for research teams and operational stakeholders.
  • Assist with cohort identification, study tracking, and reporting for cardiovascular clinical research studies.
  • Support study metrics including participant enrollment, randomization, follow-up measures, and clinical outcomes.
  • Create tables, figures, and summary reports for manuscripts, presentations, and scientific publications.
  • Document analytical methodologies, standard operating procedures, and programming workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional research, clinical, and operational teams to ensure timely project completion.
  • Recommend process improvements and communicate project progress, risks, and data quality findings.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Public Health, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in biostatistics, data analytics, clinical research, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience extracting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets.
  • Proficiency with one or more statistical programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, or SAS.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and data management best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document analytical processes and present findings.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience working with clinical research or healthcare data.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical research databases.
  • Experience supporting scientific publications or medical research.
  • Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, predictive modeling, or advanced statistical methods.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms and business intelligence tools.
  • Understanding of clinical trial operations and research methodology.
