Principal Engineer - Enterprise Cloud Security

Location:

Pleasanton, CA area (primarily remote, but candidate must be local enough to attend regular onsite collaboration sessions)

Duration: 6-12 months

Interview Process:
Insight interview followed by client interview. Insight interview will definitely be video interview, client may want onsite as they are requiring the candidate be local. We are not interested in people looking to relocate.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience deploying Zscaler in large enterprise environments
• Deep expertise with Palo Alto Global Protect VPN architecture and migration methodologies
• Experience leading global infrastructure and cloud security transformation projects
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, cloud security, and network modernization
• Proven ability to manage complex technical migrations with minimal business disruption
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Principal-level leadership experience mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and deployment of Zscaler solutions across global enterprise environments
• Architect and execute migrations from Palo Alto Global Protect VPN to modern cloud security platforms
• Coordinate implementation activities across multiple regions and stakeholder groups
• Provide technical leadership and best-practice guidance throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure security, compliance, and performance requirements are met during migration efforts
