Senior OCI Platform Architect / Administrator
We are seeking a hands-on Senior OCI Platform Architect/Administrator with strong experience managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) tenancies, networking, security, disaster recovery, OIC, and Oracle databases.
This is a hands-on operational role. Candidates whose experience is primarily high-level OCI architecture without direct administration and production support experience will not be a good fit.
Required OCI Experience- OCI Architect Professional certification
- OCI tenancy and platform administration
- OCI networking and security rule management
- OCI Security and Cloud Guard
- API Gateway administration
- Load Balancer administration
- OCI Vault / secrets management
- OCI backups and recovery
- Broad knowledge of OCI services and functionality
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing OCI DR solutions
- Full Stack Disaster Recovery (FSDR) setup and administration
- Execution of DR plans and DR testing
- OIC custom DR setup and execution
- Production DR troubleshooting and recovery
- Hands-on OIC administration
- OIC environment configuration and management
- Troubleshooting production integrations
- OIC DR administration and testing
- Strong Oracle DBA experience
- Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) administration
- Database performance tuning
- Custom SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Database backup/recovery
- DBA support within OCI environments
The ideal candidate combines OCI platform administration, cloud architecture, networking/security, DR, OIC administration, and Oracle DBA expertise.
Critical requirement:
Candidates must have demonstrated hands-on experience administering OCI tenancies and executing OCI/FSDR DR activities, rather than simply designing OCI solutions.
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite in Pleasanton, California
