For our client, we are seeking a VP AI & Automation to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.
Location:
Pleasanton, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $292,000 - $365,000 annually
Responsibilities- Drive the company's internal AI transformation program and establish a measurable roadmap for business outcomes
- Define and report success metrics to the CIO and senior leadership
- Build and manage a high-performing team focused on AI program management and citizen development
- Collaborate with various departments to identify and implement impactful AI use cases
- Lead AI agent design and deployment, coordinating with IT and business stakeholders
- Promote AI adoption through training, enabling effective tool use across the organization
- Develop AI policies and governance guidelines in partnership with Legal and Info Sec teams
- 12+ years of experience in technology leadership, especially in enterprise AI and automation programs
- 3-5 years of direct experience leading large-scale AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated success in developing AI/ML or intelligent automation programs that yield business results
- Strong executive presence with skills in stakeholder influence across various functions
- Hands-on experience with modern AI platforms like Claude, Gemini, Vertex AI, and OpenAI/ChatGPT
- In-depth knowledge of AI governance and responsible AI practices
- Experience in regulatory environments, collaborating with Legal and Info Sec teams
