The Endpoint Deployment Coordinator plans and coordinates endpoint procurement, staging, deployment, asset management, and logistics for mergers and acquisitions. The role ensures acquired employees receive properly configured BKF laptops, iPads, peripherals, and other technology equipment on schedule and are ready to work at integration cutover.
Reporting to the M&A Integration Lead, this position works closely with the Senior M&A Technology Integration Engineer, Technology Deployment Engineers, Service Operations, vendors, and acquired-company contacts. The role is responsible for the deployment operation from initial forecasting through equipment delivery, Day 1 support, and final asset reconciliation.
Between acquisitions, the position supports enterprise endpoint deployments, laptop lifecycle initiatives, asset management, inventory, and related Service Operations projects.
This is a hybrid position based in BKF’s Pleasanton, California office. Regular onsite presence is required to support equipment receiving, staging, inventory, and deployment activities. Travel to BKF and acquired-company locations may be required based on business and integration needs.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop endpoint deployment plans based on employee counts, locations, roles, schedules, and laptop, iPad, peripheral, and equipment requirements.
Forecast hardware demand and coordinate purchasing, delivery, and deployment timelines with procurement teams and technology vendors.
Coordinate equipment receiving, inventory, asset tagging, staging, provisioning, packing, shipping, and onsite distribution.
Maintain accurate asset records for laptops, iPads, peripherals, and other technology equipment throughout procurement, deployment, reassignment, recovery, and disposal.
Manage deployment schedules and daily work assignments for Technology Deployment Engineers, contractors, and temporary deployment resources.
Partner with technical teams to ensure laptops, iPads, and other endpoint devices meet BKF standards for device management, applications, security, licensing, and user readiness.
Coordinate with HR, acquired-company contacts, managers, and Service Operations to confirm employee information and deployment requirements.
Track equipment readiness, shipping status, delivery confirmation, deployment completion, exceptions, and outstanding issues.
Develop onsite deployment, cutover, Day 1 support, equipment-recovery, and hyper care plans.
Identify procurement, staffing, logistics, and schedule risks and elevate them promptly.
Maintain deployment checklists, procedures, inventory standards, shipping practices, and operational playbooks.
Manage relationships with hardware suppliers, shipping providers, staging vendors, and deployment contractors.
Support laptop lifecycle replacements, new-hire deployments, office projects, inventory audits, warranty processing, and other endpoint initiatives between acquisitions.
Identify opportunities to improve deployment efficiency, asset accuracy, automation, and the employee onboarding experience.
Five or more years of experience in endpoint deployment, IT asset management, technology logistics, Service Operations, or a related field.
Experience coordinating laptop or device deployments across multiple offices or employee groups.
Experience with equipment procurement, receiving, inventory, staging, shipping, and asset tracking.
Working knowledge of Windows endpoints, iPads, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, mobile-device management, and modern device-provisioning processes.
Experience working with IT asset-management systems and maintaining accurate lifecycle records.
Strong organizational, scheduling, and vendor-coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent deployment projects and changing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to provide direction to employees, contractors, vendors, and temporary deployment staff.
Ability to support planned after-hours or weekend deployment activities.
Ability to travel to BKF and acquired-company offices when required.
Ability to perform the physical activities associated with receiving, moving, staging, and shipping computer equipment.
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, office openings, or large-scale employee onboarding.
