Associate must have hands on in migrating informatica of workflows to IDMC
Associate must have strong understanding of ETL ,sql and Unix
Associate should be able to lead a team who is working on the migration of informatica pc workflows to IDMC format
Associate must be able to identify possible issues/ in compatibilities and provide solutions in this migration process

Informatica Power Center & IDMC (IICS) Developer – Migration Specialist
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Informatica Power Center (PC) and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS) Developer to support the migration of enterprise data integration solutions from Informatica Power Center to IDMC. The ideal candidate will have strong ETL development experience, hands-on expertise in both Power Center and IDMC services, and a proven track record of assessing, migrating, and optimizing ETL workloads in cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze existing Informatica Power Center mappings, workflows, sessions, and reusable objects for migration to IDMC.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL/ELT solutions using Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and other IDMC services.
- Mapping and workflow assessment
- Conversion and redevelopment of ETL logic
- Parameter and configuration migration
- Validation and reconciliation
- Performance optimization
- Review and compare DEV, QA, and PROD environments to identify configuration, parameter, and code differences.
- Validate production configurations and dependencies to ensure accurate migration.
- Migrate and optimize complex transformations, workflows, task flows, and reusable components.
- Work with source and target systems including Oracle, SQL Server and flat-file integrations.
- Troubleshoot migration issues and resolve data quality, performance, and connectivity challenges.
- Create migration documentation, technical specifications, and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and support teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and production validation.
Assess current-state conversion readiness| identify complexity drivers| and document technical assumptions| gaps| and risks.
Review runtime behaviors| parameterization patterns| file handling logic| source/target connectivity| and transformation-level dependencies.
Analyze B2B service dependencies and EDI-related integration patterns| including awareness of 835/837 file format handling where applicable.
Create and validate mapping tasks| taskflows| connections| schedules| parameters| and other IDMC assets required for end-to-end migration.
Ensure IDMC implementation aligns with functional intent| source-to-target rules| transformation behavior| scheduling needs| and operational controls.
Drive configuration consistency| naming standards| reusable patterns| and environment migration practices across the conversion workstream.
