Pay Rate Range for Role is $33.00 - $55.00

Shift: Monday through Friday 7am
-3: 30pm.

• The incumbent will supervise 1-2 in-house maintenance technicians;as well as, trade contractors from multiple trade disciplines in the management of the day-to-day preventative maintenance program and execution of multiple repair/improvement projects.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety and control systems. Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards. The incumbent performs preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment at all owned and leased properties. Responds to scheduled, unscheduled and preventative maintenance work orders.
• Respond to or assign appropriate technicians to emergency calls during off-duty hours when there is an imminent threat to the safety of personnel or structural integrity or when critical systems have stopped functioning.
• Addresses existing or potential problems and makes recommendations to ensure systems and equipment meet manufacturers’operating parameters.
• Orders and stocks supply and replacement parts to ensure availability for future needs.
• Assists in developing and executing testing and inspection checklists to ensure quality work by contractors and staff.
• Contributes to the safety program
• Assists in the preparation of Statements of Work (SOW) and other construction documents for repairs, new construction, and renovation work to be performed. Assistance includes obtaining telephone / written estimates and quotes for materials and equipment needed to facilitate repairs and the completion of assigned job/task. Monitors contractors work to ensure they are providing products and services per the terms and conditions of the contract.
  
  Assists in developing punch lists, testing, and inspections as required to ensure acceptable quality in both services and construction work and assists in the performance of in-house projects.
• Perform preventative maintenance by inspecting, adjusting and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and equipment and machines. Additional maintenance items include doors, windows, hardware, wall and floor coverings, module furniture, sunshades and blinds.
• Coordinates work with all other trades.
• Align with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Prepares written reports on their condition in conformance with the reporting requirements to the Annual Facility Condition and Annual Inspection Summary.
• Conducts daily inspections of facilities to ensure fire and life safety practices are in compliance with fire and life safety requirements. Develops deficiency reports with recommendations for solutions along with cost estimates to bring facilities into compliance.
• Assists in developing and executing a comprehensive maintenance program for building assemblies, site features, equipment and associated components.
• Support campus activities including relocations, emergency actions, escorting and monitoring contractors on-site. May act as Technical Monitor for equipment contracts valued up to $100, 000. Individual may be required to assist other departments, as directed.
