R&D Lab Technician

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Pay Rate
: $24.37 - $25.00/hr

Hours
: 7:30am- 4:00pm, M-F

• Manufactures pilot-scale batches according to batch instructions and operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintains detailed documentation for each batch produced.
• Weighing ingredients accurately for Pilot Plant sample.
• Assist in setting up, change over, and test run equipment for various-sized vials and packages as required
• Works all areas of production operation: weighing, blending, filling, packaging, cleaning*
• Accurately weighs product*
• Blends product according to batch record and SOP*
• Cleans equipment and rooms to specifications
• Working in lab to assist or self‑work on lab equipment

• Bachelors degree
• Adapts quickly to changes in work priorities
• Good communications skills (verbal and written)
• Must be well organized and detail oriented with strong desire to explore innovation, expand knowledge base.
• Must be proactive, reliable and self‑motivated
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
• Team building skills and experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work across functions
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE's) requirements
• Constant walking and standing on hard concrete service
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and lifting.
