Pay Range: $55 - $60 per hour on W2
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Product Evaluator II to join our team in Dublin, CA. This role involves providing technical support for all food product development activities, with a high emphasis on documentation, record keeping, reporting, sample storage, and sample demonstration preparation. The ideal candidate will work in a varied environment, including office space, lab, kitchen, and warehouse, focusing on new product development, product specifications, and sample testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing documentation and demonstrations for new product development projects across multiple categories.
- Receive, log, label, and store food product sample submissions; maintain an inventory management system.
- Plan and assist with product evaluations/cuttings and evaluate the organoleptic quality of products.
- Execute product sample testing appropriate per category.
- Create, update, review, and manage finished product specifications in the internal database system.
- Thorough knowledge of food manufacturing equipment and ingredient functionality.
- Thorough understanding of food safety and microbiology.
- Proficiency in operating chemical and analytical tools and laboratory equipment.
Experience in a lab, manufacturing, or production facility within the food industry is required.
