Job Title: Operator I
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Work Location:Pleasanton, CA 94588, USA Shift Details
- Shift: 1st Shift
- Hours: 5:00 AM 1:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $21.50/hour
The Operator I is responsible for producing high-quality medical devices in a manufacturing environment. Working under close supervision, you will perform assembly, repair, testing, and inspection of medical devices such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related components while following established manufacturing procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, repair, inspect, and test medical devices and components.
- Follow standardized manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and traceability documentation.
- Perform routine manufacturing operations under close supervision.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate production issues, ideas, and solutions effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Follow all safety policies and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor individual and team performance metrics to support quality and productivity goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills and experience using electronic data collection systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
- Strong manual dexterity with the ability to handle small parts and components.
- Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
