Join Insignia Designs as our Large Format Print Technician, where creativity meets precision! In this dynamic role, you will oversee the production of high-quality large format prints, ensuring excellence in every project while working with a small, but passionate team in the heart of Pleasanton, CA.

• Manage and coordinate large format print production processes from start to finish.
• Existing equipment responsibilities include running HP365 Large Digital Latex printer, running Onyx RIP software, Graphtec plotter and Royal Sovereign Laminator.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, i.e. printhead calibration, and ensure optimal performance of printing machinery.
• Understanding material properties and environmental factors like humidity to ensure high-quality output and prevent issues like ink bleeding or media warping.
• Collaborate with design and sales teams to meet client specifications and deadlines.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in print output.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed for production continuity.
• Analyze production workflows to identify areas for efficiency improvements.

• Experience in large format print production or related field.
• Computer skills including software programs and applications (Adobe Creative Suite & Illustrator, etc.)
• Experience with RIP software (Onyx)
• Knowledgeable in color management from screen to proof to print
• Strong knowledge of printing technologies and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• High school diploma required; degree in graphic design or related field preferred.
