Operator I
Location:
Duration: 06 Months of Contract + possible extension
Shift: Monday to Friday (5:00 AM to 1:30 PM) Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Device Assembler to support the manufacturing of high-quality medical devices in a cleanroom production environment. This role involves assembling, repairing, testing, and inspecting medical devices such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related components while following standardized work instructions and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, repair, inspect, and test medical devices according to established procedures.
- Perform routine production tasks under close supervision.
- Follow written work instructions and verbal directions accurately.
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and traceability documentation.
- Ensure all quality standards and regulatory requirements are met.
- Communicate production issues, ideas, and solutions effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory compliance requirements.
- Follow all company safety policies and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with coworkers, leadership, and facility visitors.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic data collection systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small components.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or medical device experience is a plus.
