TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a travel nursing assignment in Pleasanton, California.

As an ICU Travel Nurse, you will evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting, document and provide physician‑directed care, assess and implement patient care plans, delegate to other care providers when appropriate, provide education and support to patient families.

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Take samples for lab work, order corresponding lab work, and interpret reports.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing.
• Communicate patients' conditions to family members.

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Must lift up to 20 pounds easily; may lift patients up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must tolerate hazards from exposure to chemicals or infectious diseases.

• ALCS, BLS certification.
• 2 years recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Total Med Travel Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
