RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current CA license
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Experience in providing evidence-based patient care
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly on W2
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university
- Experience in cardiology or interventional radiology settings
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Triages patients'physical symptoms and consults with cardiologists per protocol
- Coordinates patient care for testing services, including bubble studies and definity
- Provides pre and post-op education for cardiology procedures
- Educates patients on cardiovascular conditions and treatment options
- Participates in Transition of Care Management to ensure discharge instructions are understood
- Assists in the development of policies and protocols for patient care
