Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established, two-doctor general practice located in downtown Pleasanton, CA. The practice provides comprehensive services, including wellness care, dentistry, surgery, acupuncture, and diagnostic treatments for dogs and cats.
With a highly experienced support team and strong ties to the local community, including police canine units, you will have the resources and assistance needed to deliver exceptional care. This position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, after-hours responsibilities, or on-call shifts, making it ideal for professionals seeking a balanced and fulfilling career in veterinary medicine.
- Established a two-doctor general practice with a strong reputation in the community

- Provide comprehensive medical care for dogs and cats, including routine and preventive services
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions using established veterinary practices
- Educate pet owners on preventive care, treatment plans, and overall animal health
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure high standards of patient care
- Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) DVM/VMD in California
- Strong commitment to practicing high-quality, compassionate veterinary medicine
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
