As a Floor Leader, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Store Management Team across all areas of the business, driving sales, opening/closing the store, analyzing sales results, and leading training sessions. Your focus will be on ensuring the store runs smoothly, delivering an exceptional customer experience, motivating staff, and achieving operational excellence.
On the shop floor, you will lead and inspire a team of sales associates to exceed their goals while fostering a culture of passion and positivity. The role is about making the world a better place one soap at a time.
Responsibilities- Driving Sales: Use the Store Force dashboard to coach and adjust the shop floor structure to meet and exceed sales goals; take ownership of results and grow the contribution of your segments.
- Customer
Experience:
Deliver a world‑class customer experience, including product demonstrations and consultations, to drive sales and build a loyal customer base. - Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush brand values such as fighting animal testing, freshest cosmetics, ethical buying, 100% vegetarian, handmade, and naked packaging; engage the community through store events.
- Product Passion: Continuously deepen product knowledge and make informed recommendations for all customer needs.
- Development: Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers to improve performance, support growth, and increase sales. Take ownership of your own development and seek feedback.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Encourage open communication, listen to team perspectives, foster teamwork, and recognize unique contributions.
- Cash Handling and Store Opening/Closing: Manage transactions, opening/closing register, reconciling cash drawers, preparing deposits, and securing the store.
- Time and Attendance: Model punctuality, monitor employee breaks, and ensure team members are informed of daily communications.
- Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing store to enhance the shopping experience.
- Stock and Inventory: Train the team on inventory best practices and support managers with inventory tasks, adjusting displays in real time.
- Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety.
- Required:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
- Supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training.
- Problem‑solving experience related to customer service in day‑to‑day operations.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Preferred:
- Experience with consultation‑based customer service models.
- Experience analyzing sales metrics.
- Experience working in skincare or cosmetics.
- Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
Hourly Rate: $23.10 USD - $23.10 USD.
Work SchedulePart‑time; 20–29 hours per week.
