Sales Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, as well as providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They cultivate strong team relationships and contribute to shop excellence in both sales and operations. On the shop floor, they strive to surpass daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive team environment.

Responsibilities- Sales and Customer
Experience:
Driving sales by using store data and feedback to exceed goals. Take ownership of results and contribute to the store’s overall performance. - Customer
Experience:
Deliver a world-class experience to every customer. Listen actively, identify needs with open-ended questions, demonstrate product benefits, and aim to leave customers more satisfied. - Building the Brand: Educate customers on brand values (e.g., Fighting Animal Testing, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, Naked Packaging). Articulate these values in-store and through community engagement to attract traffic.
- Product Passion: Continuously expand product knowledge and stay up-to-date on ingredients and benefits to confidently recommend products.
Team Involvement:
- Development: Use resources to develop sales techniques and product knowledge, support team growth, and improve performance. Seek feedback and opportunities to enhance skills.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB): Foster open communication, listen to diverse perspectives, promote teamwork, and recognize each employee’s contributions.
Operational Excellence:
- Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, participate in teamwork, and stay informed about company updates.
- Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and appealing store environment.
- Stock and Inventory: Follow guidelines to adjust product displays based on sales to improve the customer experience.
- Policies and Procedures: Adhere to opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety standards.
Required:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred:
- Experience with consultation-based customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills for day-to-day operations
- Teamwork experience
- Experience in skincare or cosmetics
- Experience with DEIB or social justice training
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
Pay: $21 USD per hour
