Position Overview
ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) for our Pleasanton/San Frank Bay area office. This hybrid role focuses on closing sales and winning new business within a defined territory.
What you’ll do- Grow Our Business While Growing Yours
: work within a protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top‑down sales strategy. - Turn Prospects into Loyal and Referring Clients
: recommend solutions to help clients understand and solve real business needs; earn referral business through networking. - Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family
: strategically cross‑sell with other ADP associates to cultivate additional business within existing accounts. - Collaborate Daily
: serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the overall network, demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
Required qualifications
- Positive self‑starter
. Upbeat, persistent, comfortable with cold calling, strong time‑management, and the ability to present ideas clearly on paper, in‑person, and over the phone. - Strategic closer
. Established network and experience carrying a quota in outside B2B sales; proven track record of closing sales, winning clients, managing a territory, and building relationships. - Proven winner
. Ambitious spirit, thrives under pressure, and motivates to exceed sales quotas. - Three years of B2B sales experience (preferably field sales) within a results‑driven environment.
- Military experience is acceptable, providing skills in teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust‑building, and a “never‑lose” mentality.

Base salary ranges from $54,300.00 to $ per year, with potential for bonus, equity, or commissions.
