ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Major Accounts.
Role OverviewIn this role you will sell human resources technology within a designated geographic territory, cultivate new business opportunities, and drive strategic discussions around Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives for companies with 50 – 999 employees. You will manage complete sales cycles, sell ADP’s suite of solutions (40+ products and services) to executives, and accurately forecast your sales pipeline. You will document and manage multiple sales cycles, remaining engaged through implementation until the solutions are up and running.
Whatyou’ll do
- Grow our business while growing yours: work independently and collaboratively within your geography to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals.
- Turn prospects into loyal clients and raving fans: implement a sales strategy targeted to decision‑makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
- Deepen relationships across the ADP family: strategically cultivate additional business within existing accounts and build long‑term partnerships.
- Collaborate daily: serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the overall network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
- Proven record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory.
- Positive self‑starter who can cold‑call, manage time well, and present ideas clearly in person, on the phone, and in writing.
- Confidently fearless, embraces opportunities, takes risks, and challenges the status quo.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, natural leader, resourceful, thrives under pressure, and bounces back quickly.

A college degree is great but not required. Preferred experience includes:
- Two or more years of quota‑carrying, outside business‑to‑business sales experience.
- Three or more years of relevant experience in HCM, technology, business equipment, uniform, or software sales.
- Military experience – veterans are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to build a network and use social media for sales.
Base salary ranges from USD $44,800.00 to $97,200.00 per year, depending on location, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, or commissions.
