Position: Medium Enterprise Customer Base Account Executive - Manufacturing

Overview

We are a Fortune 500 company and a leading AI platform for managing people, money, and agents. The Enterprise Sales team drives incremental add‑on business and renewals with existing customers, working closely with marketing, pre‑sales, and technical teams to help customers achieve value from Workday solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, focusing on upselling through deal management.
  • Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre‑sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Drive strategic add‑on and renewal business of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise customers.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with Workday’s internal teams (pre‑sales, digital, value & bid‑management, marketing, technical, and sales support).
Qualifications
  • Basic Qualifications (P4)
    • 4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C‑level executives from a field sales position.
    • 4+ years of experience negotiating deals with C‑suite executives.
    • 4+ years of experience building relationships with existing customers for add‑on or incremental business.
    • 4+ years of experience developing long‑term account strategies with existing customers.
  • Basic Qualifications (P3)
    • 3+ years selling SaaS/Cloud ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C‑level in field sales OR 18+ months as a Workday Sales Development Representative with a track record of exceeding quotas.
    • 2+ years of experience negotiating deals with C‑suite executives OR equivalent internal program completion.
    • 3+ years of experience generating and developing leads within a territory.
  • Proven track record in a high‑velocity sales cycle, including prospecting opportunities.
  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape and ability to position Workday solutions effectively.
  • Experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation

The base salary for the primary location is $137,400‑$167,600 USD per year. Compensation may also include the Workday Bonus Plan and annual stock grants. Additional details are discussed during the hiring process.
