Position OverviewVCPG is seeking a professional, high-caliber Corporate Security Agent for a full-time overnight assignment. This is not a passive “observe and report” position. Agents must demonstrate maturity, sound judgment, accountability, and a service-oriented mindset while maintaining a visible yet respectful protective presence in a residential environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide armed residential protection during overnight hours
- Conduct structured patrols and manage access control
- Maintain strong situational awareness and threat-informed posture
- Interact professionally with residents, staff, and authorized guests
- Document incidents, observations, and shift activity accurately and thoroughly
- Operate in strict compliance with California law, BSIS standards, and VCPG SOPs
- Maintain weapon discipline, uniform standards, and professional demeanor at all times
- Valid California CCW Permit
- Valid California Exposed Firearm Permit
- Valid California Guard Card
- Associate degree or equivalent professional experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Clean professional record suitable for armed residential assignments
- Former law enforcement
- Military veteran
- Prior executive protection or residential security experience
- Demonstrated reliability and performance on night shift
- Impeccable uniform presentation and professional bearing
- Clear, concise written communication with strong report-writing skills
- Integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment under pressure
- Consistent reliability and punctuality
- Paid 30-minute lunch period
- 40 hours (5 days) paid sick leave per year
