Landscape Construction Laborer

Role Overview

The Landscape Laborer assists with landscape installation and maintenance tasks, including planting, soil preparation, sod and seed application, and material handling, to ensure safe and efficient operations.

• Excavate manually with a shovel
• Handle and install trees and shrubs
• Handle fertilizers and soil enrichment materials
• Move and spread soil and aggregates
• Install seed and sod
• Use hand tools, including wheelbarrow
• Load and unload materials

• Ability to follow supervisor instructions
• Knowledge of safe working practices

• Ability to load and unload trailers (up to 50 lbs.)
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day
• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks, 5 days per week (some overtime or weekend work required)

• Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
• Work in or near situations involving direct automotive traffic
• Work near or around natural bodies of water

Compensation Pay Range

22.65 - 37.90
