Position Overview- We are seeking an experienced Fire & Sprinkler Inspection Technician to join our Irvine team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with California Sprinkler Fitter Certification (required) and a proven background in sprinkler and fire system inspections. The technician will perform inspections, ensure compliance with NFPA and local codes, and maintain excellent communication with clients and internal teams.
- Conduct inspections and testing of fire alarm systems and fire sprinkler.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams regarding inspections and findings.
- Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices.
- Assist with troubleshooting and minor maintenance of fire systems as needed.
- California Sprinkler Fitter Certification (required)
- 3–5 years of experience in fire system inspections or related field.
- Strong understanding of NFPA standards, codes, and inspection procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection projects.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Sitting – Frequently (3–6 hours daily)
- Walking – Occasionally (0–3 hours daily)
- Standing – Occasionally (0–3 hours daily)
- Standing on Ladder – Occasionally (0–3 hours daily)
- Bending (Neck and Waist) – Occasionally (0–3 hours daily)
- Twisting (Neck and Waist) – Occasionally (0–3 hours daily)
- Lifting 0–30 lbs. – Occasionally (0–3 hours daily)
- Carrying 0–30 lbs. – Occasionally (0–3 hours daily)
