Job Description
Location:
Pleasanton, TX, 3195 Coughran Road, Pleasanton, Texas, United States of America.
Pro Frac Services, a PF Holdings company, operates in key U.S. oil and gas regions including Haynesville, Eagle Ford, and Permian Basins. We provide advanced hydraulic fracturing solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for wiring of new/rebuilt pumps, control boxes, blenders, and data acquisition systems (DAQ).
- Conduct troubleshooting of new/rebuilt pumps, control boxes, blenders, and DAQ systems.
- Complete cable building and technical communication vehicle (TCV) computer installation.
- Perform entry level tasks such as troubleshooting pumps, blenders, TCVs, and cable building with supervision.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment including programmable controls, power supplies, instrumentation, gauges and test equipment.
- Notify management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers.
- Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records.
- Execute preventive maintenance functions as directed.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Two-year technical degree, accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Entry‑level knowledge of schematic reading, wiring procedures, soldering techniques, test equipment usage, and basic electronic troubleshooting theory preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Work with upper level technician until proficient.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Frequent travel may be required.
- Highly safety conscious and respectful of confidential information.
Mental and
Physical Requirements:
- Able to read, speak and write English.
- Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs.
- Willingness to work any shift and overtime as required.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions at times.
- Perform activities that require use of arms and legs: climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling materials.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
