What is this role about?Our Service Managers play a key leadership role in our local Terminix branches. This role is all about leading and motivating our local Pest Technician Teams to provide outstanding service delivery of Terminix products to our valued customers.
What does a “Day-in-the-Life” look like?Every day our Pest Tech teams are out in the neighborhoods, visiting residential customers and performing pest control treatments. The Service Manager ensures the team functions effectively, operates efficiently, and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction. Key daily responsibilities include:
- Monitoring branch scheduling and ensuring pest tech routes are completed successfully
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards are met or exceeded
- Responding to customer concerns, including resolving cancellation requests
- Inspecting and evaluating the performance of Pest Technicians
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of pest control products
- Facilitating continual training of local sales and service teams
- An associate’s degree (a four‑year degree is highly desirable)
- Valid driver’s license from your state of residence
- 1‑2 years of related experience is helpful, but not required
- Willingness to relocate is desirable
- Ability to lead and motivate others effectively
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
- Good problem‑solving skills and practical solution orientation
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers and employees
- Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on safety
- Basic to intermediate math aptitude for sales and service calculations
- Comfortable working outdoors and in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
- Comprehensive training and licensure, all paid by the company
