Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Software Test Engineer for a Contract with a client in Pleasanton, CA
. Candidate must have strong medical‑device software engineering experience to write software requirements and perform verification and validation activities.
Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Develops and maintains software requirements, test cases, and test runs for medical‑device application software.
- Executes software verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Creates and updates SysML artifacts such as activity diagrams, use cases, and trace matrices.
- Supports risk‑management activities by contributing to software dFMEA and related risk documentation.
- Collaborates with R&D teams to ensure software design outputs meet system and product requirements.
- Utilizes software tools to manage requirements, testing assets, and traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Mid‑level engineering experience in medical‑device software development.
- Strong background in writing software requirements and executing software verification and validation activities within a regulated Med Device environment.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining software artifacts including test cases, test runs, trace matrices, SysML diagrams, and dFMEA/risk documentation.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
