Remote Sensing – Software Test Engineer
, responsible for testing/qualifying payload flight software in software-only and hardware/software environments. The role includes analyzing software requirements; developing qualification tests using Model Based Design approaches; conducting and participating in peer reviews of test models; executing tests on software and hardware-in-the-loop platforms; identifying and resolving test model/script issues; analyzing test results; producing test reports; and developing test tools. The selected candidate will primarily provide hands-on test case development, execution and result analysis within an agile development paradigm.
- Analyze software requirements and develop qualification tests using Model Based Design.
- Develop and execute tests in software-only and hardware/software environments, including software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop platforms.
- Participate in peer reviews of test models and scripts; identify and resolve test issues; analyze results; and generate test reports.
- Develop test tools and perform hands-on test case development, execution, and result analysis in an agile environment.
- Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in embedded software test development using MBSE model development (Cameo System Modeler).
- Python development experience.
- Agile development experience using Jira or similar tool.
- Experience with IBM DOORS, Cameo System Modeler (SysML/UML), Git/Git Lab or similar configuration management tools.
- Active TS Security Clearance.
- Desired
Skills: - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Prior experience with software qualification testing.
- Familiarity with satellite systems and with STARS/EZ-Framework.
- Security Clearance: This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US citizen for consideration.

- Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite full-time; work performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
- Work Schedules: Various schedules available; some are condensed to provide additional time away from the office. This is in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
- Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off.
- Pay Rate and Benefits: Salary ranges are location-dependent; benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term/Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off and Holidays.
- Additional: This position is incentive plan eligible.
