Job Summary
Design, develop and modify software systems and implement new applications.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with technical staff, management, and business operations staff throughout all phases of the software development life cycle in order to deliver working solutions to complex business problems.
- Create builds, staging and deploy software content across multiple environments (DEV, QA, Test, Staging, pre‑prod and Production).
- Modify existing software to correct errors, tune the code for better performance.
- Analyze business user needs, functional and technical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Identify, investigate the root cause, analyze, and document problems with software product functionality and the software program output.
- Working with analysts, developers and architects to design and discuss the project limitations and capabilities.
- Managing and applying security updates on infrastructure and assisting with building out server automation across the entire infrastructure.
- Creating the test scenarios and test process with documentation.
- Technical writing, testing and debugging the code, follow quality assurance processes to adhere to company standards.
Worker may be required to travel to various anticipated worksites in the US to serve on short‑term client projects where the worker will be placed at the client worksite, under the direction/supervision of and reporting telephonically to the employer who will define the tasks to complete for these projects. Frequency varies in a given year, as projects may last a few months or a few years depending on the scope of the project.
May telecommute.
RequirementsRequires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 24 months of experience in a software developer or other computer‑related occupation.
Requires proficient knowledge of:
- Tableau
- Unix and Shell Programming
- Object Oriented Programming
- HTML
Proficiency in the skills may be obtained through education or experience.
