We are seeking a Senior Staff AI Platform Engineer to help design and build the next generation of enterprise AI capabilities. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of AI, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and developer experience.

You will be responsible for creating scalable platform services, enabling AI application development, improving reliability and observability, and helping engineering teams successfully deploy and operate AI-powered solutions in production.

• Design and develop platform components that support AI and generative AI applications at scale
• Build reusable SDKs, APIs, and developer tools that accelerate AI application development
• Develop and maintain AI agent frameworks, orchestration services, and platform integrations
• Implement safety, governance, and validation mechanisms for AI-driven workflows
• Create monitoring, telemetry, and observability solutions for AI services and agent interactions
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting AI platform deployments
• Partner with engineering teams to establish best practices for AI application development and operations
• Drive platform reliability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence
• Contribute to architecture decisions and provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong Python development experience in large-scale production environments
• Hands-on experience building and operating AI/ML or Generative AI platforms
• Experience with LLM-based applications and AI agent architectures
• Experience developing SDKs, frameworks, APIs, or shared platform services
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and modern Dev Ops practices
• Experience with observability, monitoring, distributed tracing, and production operations
• Strong system design and technical leadership experience

• Experience with GCP, Vertex AI, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, or similar cloud services
• Experience with Open Telemetry and distributed tracing
• Experience with AI governance, safety, compliance, or security controls
• Experience with MLOps, model evaluation frameworks, or model lifecycle management
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval systems
• Experience supporting multiple engineering teams through platform development
