Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop system engineering, software engineering, system integration, or distributed system architectures.
• Implement deployment pipelines as a part of Systems Engineer role for on-premises and cloud-based software.
• Creating automated build and deployment process for application, reengineering setup for better user experience, and leading up to building a continuous integration system for all our products.
• Research, test, and verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes. Perform security analyses of developed or packaged software components.
• Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, and scalability of software systems.
• Configure monitoring tools to constantly check the health of software systems.
• Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system related information.

Worker may be required to travel to various anticipated worksites in the US to serve on short-term client projects where the worker will be placed at the client worksite, under the direction/supervision of and reporting telephonically to the employer who will define the tasks to complete for these projects. Frequency varies in a given year, as projects may last a few months to a few years depending on the scope of the project.

May telecommute.

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 60 months of experience in Systems Engineer or other computer-related occupation.
