Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Elementary Assistant Principal. This full-time position plays a crucial role in supporting the principal in the administration of the school, fostering a positive and productive learning environment, and promoting academic excellence among students. Responsibilities
  • Assist the principal in the overall administration of the school, including the development and implementation of educational programs and policies.
  • Support teachers and staff in their professional development and instructional practices.
  • Collaborate with faculty to enhance curriculum and improve student learning outcomes.
  • Monitor student progress and implement interventions to support at‑risk students.
  • Foster a positive school culture through effective communication and collaboration with students, parents, and the community.
  • Manage student discipline and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Coordinate school events, programs, and activities that promote student engagement and community involvement.
  • Assist in the evaluation and assessment of staff performance.
  • Participate in school committees and work groups to support school improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed about educational trends and best practices to enhance school operations.
Requirements
  • Valid state certification or licensure in school administration or leadership.
  • Prior experience in an educational setting, preferably in a leadership or administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders, including students, parents, and staff.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students.
  • Proficient in using technology and educational software to enhance school operations and communication.
