CDL Crane Rigger; San Antonio​/Pleasanton, TX

Sterling Crane LLC is a leader in the heavy lift industry, offering operated and bare rentals, sales, parts, and unparalleled service since 1954. We are looking for a CDL Crane Rigger at our Pleasanton Branch.

• Inspect all applicable rigging.
• Haul heavy materials and equipment.
• Have knowledge of rigging equipment capacity and weight limits.
• Signal crane operator during lifts for directional or placement instructions.
• Climb structures with a safety harness to guide and position load.
• Ensure rigging is safe and reliable before engaging in hoisting and lifting.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL A required.
• NCCER or NCCCO crane rigger certified.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Successfully pass post‑offer drug and physical screens and have a background/MVR that meets company requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.
• Strong customer service skills to communicate with onsite project managers.
• Strong knowledge of math applications, weights, and measurements.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Problem‑solving skills and critical thinking to resolve and identify safety issues.
• Must be willing to follow safety procedures.

• Employee will be required to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift regularly.
• NCCER or NCCCO crane rigger certified.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE.
• Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects/materials.
