Role Description The Dispensary Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at Happy Tree Farmacy in Pleasantville, NJ. This role involves greeting customers, answering product-related questions, and guiding individuals through product options in a professional and compliant manner. Day-to-day tasks include handling cash and point-of-sale transactions, managing inventory counts, restocking shelves, and maintaining accurate records. The Dispensary Technician also helps uphold store cleanliness and safety standards, supports opening and closing procedures, and collaborates with team members to ensure a positive, efficient customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills to assist diverse customers and provide clear, respectful guidance.
- Solid product knowledge and willingness to learn about wellness-focused offerings and their appropriate use.
- Cash handling and point-of-sale experience, with attention to accuracy and basic math skills.
- Inventory management skills, including tracking stock levels, restocking, and reporting discrepancies.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, follow safety and compliance guidelines, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Previous retail, dispensary, or pharmacy experience is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in retail, healthcare, or wellness fields is a plus.
- Reliable attendance, accountability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
