Maintenance Data Clerk
Transdev in Pleasantville, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Data Clerk to bolster our team. The Maintenance Data Clerk correctly records data to ensure the location can maintain safe operating conditions, issues parts and tools to maintenance personnel, and orders supplies as needed. As a Maintenance Data Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our assets.
Compensation- Competitive compensation: $15.92–$17.00 per hour
- Vacation: minimum of one week
- Sick days: 5 days
- Holidays: 12 days and 2 floating
- Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, voluntary long‑term disability
- Enter daily data for the Maintenance Department
- Maintain information regarding life history of all vehicles and major component serial numbers
- Process reports for management and the client as requested
- Complete dual entry of all work orders, road calls, and preventive maintenance orders into both client and company tracking systems
- Ensure documentation is achieved
- Daily filing of all paperwork
- Organize and assist with coordinating daily PMI schedule and maintenance repair orders
- Provide support for other departments as necessary
- Execute special projects as requested
- Perform other responsibilities as requested or required
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to utilize standard computer programs
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to build solid relationships with superiors, peers, and subordinates
- Subject to a DOT physical exam and DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason
- 90 percent of work is performed indoors and in air‑conditioned or well‑ventilated facilities
- 10 percent of work is performed in an open‑garage facility/outdoors
- Must be able to lift packages of up to 50 pounds
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of the arms, repetitive hand‑wrist motion, legs, and moving the whole body (climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling materials)
