A popular restaurant in Plettenberg Bay is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service and strong financial performance.

Responsibilities

-Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service and high standards

-Lead, manage, and motivate the restaurant team to deliver excellent customer experiences

-Monitor restaurant performance including sales, costs, and profitability

-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards

-Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance

-Control stock, ordering, and waste management

-Handle customer feedback and resolve any service issues professionally

-Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain quality and efficiency

Requirements:

-Previous experience as a Restaurant General Manager or Senior Manager

-Strong leadership and team management skills

-Good understanding of restaurant financials and cost control

-Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
