If you are a qualified Red Seal Technician, our client is URGENTLY looking for an individual driven by precision, skilled in problem-solving, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service

A qualified Red Seal Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. The role requires in-depth knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to work with the latest diagnostic tools and technologies to ensure that vehicles are safe, reliable, and meet all regulatory requirements. The technician must deliver high-quality service to meet customer satisfaction.

Remuneration
R 15 000 – R 19 000 dependant on experience, performance-based Incentive – Benefits including Provident Fund

Duties include

• Complete repair orders promptly and within the designated time frame.
• Meet an average of 100 hours sold per month.
• Meet workshop labor goals by working efficiently and upselling when opportunities arise.
• Diagnose customer issues, using diagnostic equipment and software, provide effective solutions, and communicate them clearly.
• Conduct Routine maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes and other components.
• Ensure timely ordering of parts and accurate booking to Job Cards for efficient repair completion.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure work is performed according to safety policies and procedures
• Test Drive vehicles after repairs to confirm functionality and address any issues.
• Stay updated on technological advancements through training, reading bulletins, and gaining the knowledge necessary to meet customer needs.
• Assist the technical team with tasks that contribute to the company's success.
• Ensure compliance with dealership processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations, tools, equipment, and vehicles, treating all with care.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably with VW, Mercedes, Toyota Porche, Audi, Honda, Suzuki brands – Multi brands

• Motor Mechanic Trade Test Certificate – Red Seal with a minimum of 2 years working experience within a dealership, workshop, service centre – after qualifying
• Able to work without supervision
• PC Literate (VCDS | ODIS | AUTEL – Diagnostic tools
• Fully Bilingual (English, Afrikaans)
• Driven to achieve results (Productivity & Efficiency)
• PC Literate
• Valid Driver's License and Clear Criminal record
• Stable work track record
• Ability to work well under pressure and be target drive
