Purpose of Position:
Del Monte Foods (DMC Foods Inc.), the Foods Division of Fresh Del Monte, is seeking a MRO/Storeroom Clerk. A MRO/Storeroom Clerk is responsible for coordinating all indirect materials related to production equipment, as well as the execution of processes to right-size Del Monte's inventory. Primary responsibilities include receiving, storing, and kitting parts, inventory management & accuracy, identification of slow/non-moving & obsolete inventory, and cycle counting.
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and works with other plant personnel in a team environment.
Accountabilities:
* Responsible for efficiently performing activities in the MRO parts storeroom area including the proper purchasing, receiving, storing, kitting, and staging of parts physically and in the purchasing and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
* Generate purchase requisitions, monitor parts 30 days not received, and escalate to management and sourcing teams as necessary.
* Monitor KPIs and communicate metrics in daily directional settings and monthly KPI review meetings
* Responsible for implementation and maintaining parts storage standards that reduce premature failure patterns of parts, as well as setting up new bin locations and connecting in the CMMS
* Responsible for executing the material request setup intake process, execution of min-max & safety stock calculation, submitting information to management for approval, and communicating to requester outcome.
* Responsible for executing weekly cycle counts and cycle counting all parts at least once throughout the fiscal year, as well as leading and/or participating in root cause analysis for $5,000 count discrepancies.
* Responsible for kitting and staging parts for planned work and checking out parts for emergency orders.
* Execute and prepare shipping documents and shipping items being sent out via UPS, Fed Ex, etc.
* Actively engage and participate in the weekly all Del Monte Fresh Storeroom team meeting where we design, pilot, and validate our storeroom MRO processes, as well as implement and execute processes.
* Engage and communicate with internal storeroom peers, vendors and supplier representatives.
* Safely operate forklift and complete daily driver checklist, as well as pickup and deliver miscellaneous parts.

Minimum
Skills Required:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent.
* 1-3 years' experience in MRO, preferred.
* Prior inventory control experience.
* Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP).
* Prior forklift experience with the ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days.
* Learn and demonstrate knowledge of Ariba and Fiix (CMMS) within 30 days
* Solid Excel, Microsoft Teams, Word, and general computer skills
* Follow all local and corporate policies and procedures.
* Solid oral and written communication skills.
* Maintain good attendance.
* Applicable math skills.
* Work cooperatively with others.
* Able to work all shifts and days of the week.
* Ability to walk/move/maneuver about the facility.
* Bend/Twist/Pivot/Reach.
* Must understand and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
* Ability to Sit/Drive.
* Maintain accurate, neat, and legible records.
* Ability to withstand stress, including cold and hot temperatures.
* Ability to climb On/Off power equipment.
