Mid-size organization is growing rapidly and hiring for an Accounting Associate to join their team. This role is due to an internal promotion and is part of a 8-person accounting team and will report to the Senior Accountant. The Accounting Associate will focus on assisting in areas of AP, AR and reconciliations.
This is a hybrid opportunity!
Position Description- Assist with reviewing journal entries and assist with month-end close duties
- Resolve outstanding payments through communication with departments, vendors, and clients
- Process, record, and pay invoices, bills, and other transactions.
- Record fiscal transactions, balancing and reconciling accounts.
- Assist accountants and auditors with bookkeeping, clerical duties, and managing accounts.
- Bachelors' Degree in Accounting preferred
- 1+ years of experience preferred or internship experience
- Excel skills a major plus including vlookups/pivot tables
- Great Plains or Quick Books experience a plus
