We areseekinga detail‑oriented, hands‑on Assistant Controller to join our growing team. This role supports the Controller in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy of financial reporting, and strengthening accounting processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in month‑end and year‑end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Support financial analysis activities
- Assist with overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions including cross training within department
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, audit requirements, and legal requirements
- Assist with tax documentation preparation
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) ERP system is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing or distribution
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Collaborative team player
