We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing, multi-entity organization. This role is responsible for managing a high volume of invoices across a multi-site operation (30+ entities, 35+ locations nationwide). The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable working independently in a hybrid setting, and has strong technical proficiency—particularly with ERP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities
  • Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Code invoices appropriately across multiple entities and locations
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoice data imported via OCR into the general ledger system
  • Review, verify, and reconcile vendor statements
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable
  • Maintain electronic invoice records in a paperless environment
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoice status and payments
  • Prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
Qualifications & Experience
  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a multi-entity, multi-location organization
  • Experience with ERP systems required; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, or Microsoft Dynamics AX strongly preferred
  • Comfortable navigating and analyzing data in Microsoft Excel (e.g., filtering, pivot tables, lookups)
  • Experience working with OCR or automated invoice processing systems preferred
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of general ledger coding and financial controls
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level of comfort with technology and automation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a hybrid environment
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a growing organization with evolving processes
