Inte Pros is currently seeking a Project Support to support one of our environmental engineering clients in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The Project Support role is designed as a developmental position that provides hands‑on exposure to project administration, billing, and project financial support, with a clear growth path into the Project Administrator role.
The Project Coordinator will support Project Administrators and Project Managers with administrative, accounting, and project setup tasks while learning contract requirements, billing processes, and project controls. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or an early‑career professional who is detail‑oriented, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within a professional services environment.
Project Support Responsibilities- Assist with the setup and maintenance of project information in the accounting system under the guidance of a Project Administrator.
- Support review of project initiation forms, including contract value, budgets, scopes of work, fee types, and billing terms.
- Learn to interpret contract provisions and ensure project data aligns with contractual requirements and company policies.
- Assist with verifying project rate schedules, demographic data, and billing information.
- Support billing activities by preparing prebill reports, tracking edits, and assembling invoice back‑up documentation.
- Learn the timesheet and expense reporting processes, including basic data entry and corrections as needed.
- Assist with reviewing employee expense reports to ensure timely processing.
- Track basic project documentation, billing status, and follow‑up items.
- Generate standard reports from internal systems as requested.
- Support accounts receivable and payable tracking related to project processing.
- Provide general administrative support including filing, document organization, meeting coordination, and assisting with office tasks.
- Collaborate with Project Administrators, Project Managers, and internal accounting teams to ensure smooth project operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- 0–1 year of relevant administrative, accounting, or project coordination experience, or applicable internship experience.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow moderately complex instructions and procedures.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, billing, or job costing preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and industry standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Internship or coursework related to accounting, finance, or project administration.
- Exposure to professional services, engineering, or consulting environments.
- Familiarity with project accounting or ERP systems
