Veterinary Surgeon (Sign-on Bonus!)

We are seeking a Board‑Certified or Residency‑Trained Veterinary Surgeon to lead surgical care at Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital, a 24/7 AAHA‑accredited facility within the Cove Animal Health network.

• Lead surgical cases from routine to complex, collaborating with internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, oncology, radiology, and emergency/critical care specialists.
• Manage and supervise anesthesia and postoperative care in the dedicated ICU and isolation suites.
• Participate in collegial planning and discussion of surgical cases.
• Maintain a diverse surgical caseload within a multispecialty ecosystem.
• Guide the transition of referred cases through the integrated EMR workflow.
