Qualifications:

PA Certification in Secondary School Counselor PK-12

• Collaborate with the Building Principal, Assistant Principals, CSD Home and School Visitor, CSD Behavioral Health Liaisons, and Community Counselors to provide coordinated and comprehensive support to students and families.
• Serve as a member of Child Study, Instructional Support, Multidisciplinary, and Student Assistance Teams, assisting in the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of student services and interventions.
• Provide guidance and support to students and parents/guardians in areas including course selection and four-year academic planning, career exploration and decision-making, financial aid processes, post-secondary planning, and graduation requirements.
• Participate in school-based leadership and school improvement teams focused on student well-being and school climate, promoting a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment.
• Attend and actively participate in professional development activities, faculty meetings, and department meetings, and serve on building- and/or district-level committees as requested.
