This position will be located at our Plymouth Meeting office in Pennsylvania and will be expected to be in the office at least three days a week. Responsibilities will encompass all general ledger and financial accounting activities for a portfolio of operating properties, including:

• Preparation of month-end closing journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations
• Financial statement preparation
• Financial statement analysis
• Variance analysis
• Consistent and professional reporting to Management, Investors and Lenders
• Participation in annual budgeting process
• Take the lead in cash management activities
• Preparation of reconciliations and year-end financial statements for tax consultants and external auditors
• Close interaction with property management and operations team

Qualified candidates should possess the following:

• BS in Accounting
• 3-5 years of relevant industry or public accounting experience
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and tax basis of accounting
• Knowledge of Yardi or similar property management software a plus
• Ability to develop goals, establish priorities and meet deadlines
• Enthusiastic attitude and flexibility
• Willingness to undertake a variety of special projects and new responsibilities
