A well-established law firm is seeking an Employment Law Attorney to take over the firm’s employment law practice. The attorney will lead, develop, and expand the division while providing legal representation and strategic counseling to both employers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent employers and employees in employment-related disputes, including contract disputes, employment discrimination claims, non‑compete, non‑disclosure, and trade secret matters, from pre‑litigation counseling through trial and appeal.
  • Draft, review, interpret, enforce, and defend employment agreements and restrictive covenants in state and federal courts.
  • Advise employers on employment law compliance, risk management, and claim avoidance strategies.
  • Prepare employment contracts, human resources policies, and workplace procedures for employer clients.
  • Counsel businesses seeking to protect proprietary information and employees navigating career transitions involving restrictive covenants.
  • Provide employment law training to employers, including guidance on best practices and dispute prevention.
  • Develop, maintain, and grow an independent book of business through client relationships, referrals, and professional networking.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five years of experience practicing employment law, including litigation and counseling.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania; must be barred in PA and in good standing.
  • Demonstrated success managing and growing a personal book of business.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills related to employment and restrictive covenant agreements.
  • Ability to balance employer‑side and employee‑side representation.
  • Strong client development, communication, and presentation skills
