Branch Manager – Field Operations
Department: Field Operations
Location: Plymouth Meeting, PA
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Branch Manager to lead our operations, rentals, and sales activities within a specific region. This leadership role includes full responsibility for team oversight, customer engagement, project execution, safety, and financial performance. As Branch Manager, you will manage day-to-day operations while also driving business development efforts to grow the branch’s market presence and profitability. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Field Force.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage all branch activities related to rentals, services, and customer support
- Direct regional sales efforts, ensuring a strong pipeline and high win rate with new and existing customers
- Oversee project planning, equipment set-up, execution, demobilization, and maintenance
- Monitor labor, logistics, and material costs to ensure budget alignment and profitability
- Manage and coach branch personnel including technicians, drivers, and operations leads
- Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, HSE, and Human Resources teams
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for field operations and equipment usage
- Track KPIs and generate reports on regional performance, revenue, labor, and equipment utilization
- Support business strategy by identifying new market opportunities and expanding service offerings
- Coordinate subcontractor and vendor relationships for rentals, parts, and field support
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations
- Minimum 5+ years of management experience in equipment rentals, construction, water services, or industrial field services
- Experience overseeing operations, personnel, logistics, and customer service in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong leadership and team‑building abilities with a proven ability to drive results
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Knowledge of pumping systems, water transfer, hydraulic components, and field operations
- Comfortable with field travel and in‑field leadership
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems software
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
- Experience with project‑based financial management and P&L accountability
- Familiarity with water filtration technologies and system automation
- OSHA 30, Safeland, or HAZWOPER certifications
